Working on Ice

Bark Lake will be hosting our annual 'Working On Ice' program to prepare individuals for the uncertain circumstances that come with working on ice in the winter.

The goal of this course is to give people practical assessment and decision making skills to determine safe versus non-safe ice coverings. To book this course or for more information you can contact.

Project Wild/Below Zero

Aimed at both school teachers and non-formal educators like youth group and community leaders, WILD Education is a professional development program that trains educators to become certified instructors of Project WILD and Below Zero.

Overnight Winter Survival Workshop - SATURDAY & SUNDAY

Our overnight survival Workshop is designed to educate and empower our students when it comes to being lost in the outdoors during the frigid winter months. You may stay in a survival shelter or choose to bring a tent. This course is designed to be more intensive as our single day course, and is not recommended for first timers.

Sir Sam's Ski Challenge - SUNDAY
