Seniors, come join us for a culinary tour of the Haliburton Highlands. Our Roving Lunch Club will let you explore restaurants in the Highlands with reasonably priced fixed menus and have a social meal out with new and old friends. 27th Annual Dorset Snowball Winter Carnival Family Skating Party
February 17th & 18th, 2017

Music, skating, hot dogs and hot chocolate provided by the Dorset Recreation Committee. Donations appreciated. .

Entry to the carnival area requires the purchase of a $3 Snowball Button - same price for adults and kids.

Sound Sweetness

Presented as part of the Rails End Gallery's Annual Salon by local artist Biljana Bonchotova and friends; an evening of crystal and Tibetan bowls sound bath, flute and Kirtan chant. This is a small venue with maximum of 40 seats and great acoustics.

Across Canada Dinner

Doors open 5pm. Come and enjoy foods from across the country with dinner served at 6pm. Celebrate Canada's 150th with us. Historical Figures will be in attendance. Proceeds help to preserve Irondale's history.

Catch the Cure - SATURDAY
February 18th, 2017

Please join us to support a great cause!

Catch the Cure is a giant town celebration recognizing three kids in town who have Angelman Syndrome. Activities are all by donation and include: facepainting, public skate, hockey game, figure skating show, scavenger hunt, haircuts, bake sale, craft and sensory table, outdoor fun and an enormous silent auction.

Kids are invited to a very special workshop led by Ron Lofthouse, Haliburton's own "bee whisperer"! Learn all about the life cycle of bees and check out the mobile hive! Sample local honey and learn all about making beeswax candles! This workshop is FREE, but pre-registration is required - to register, see below. Suitable for ages six and up.
