Wintergreen Maple Syrup Barn
March 2 through April 28, 2019

Early spring marks the annual "Sugaring Off" in the sugar bushes of Haliburton County. It's a wonderful time to get the family out in the open air and sunshine to experience one of our country's most traditional family activities.

Come and view the evaporation process through the glass wall in our restaurant while savouring freshly made Maple Syrup on pancakes, French Toast from fresh baked bread, baked beans and complimented by our specially prepared farmer's sausages.

Wintergreen Easter Egg Hunt in the Sugarbush
April 19, 2019

Open Easter weekend Friday through Monday from 9am to 4pm (kitchen closes at 3pm). Easter egg hunts in the Sugar Bush each day. Go for a walk in the bush and find a coloured egg. Bring it back to the restaurant to exchange for a treat. Sample tree sap and see the evaporation process.

Curry Chevrolet 5th Annual Family Easter Egg Hunt

Bring your Family and Easter baskets along for our 5th Annual Curry Chevrolet, Buick GMC Easter Egg Hunt on Friday April 19th @ 10:00 am.

Every child will recieve Bunny Ears upon arrival, then have a great time together hunting for 10 Easter Eggs per child and be on the lookout for our special 'CAR' eggs to win some additional great prizes.

After your egg hunt, trade in your eggs for a treat bag and have your photo taken with the Easter Bunny. Get a special balloon creation by the one and only Razzberry the Clown and have your face painted By Fluffy Feet. Sponsored by Curry Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd.

Maple Syrup Festival Hosted by Highlands East in Wilberforce
April 20, 2019

The Maple Syrup Festival held at the Lloyd Watson Centre in Wilberforce will be serving up all you can eat pancakes and sausages with locally made pure Maple Syrup on Saturday, April 20th, Easter Weekend, from 9AM to 2PM. Enjoy the flea market and craft tables as well as a colouring contest and crafts as well as a Turtle Talk with Kelly Wallace at the Wilberforce Library at 11AM where young and old can learn about conservation and how to save at-risk turles.

$3 for children 10 and under.
$6 for adults.

Plus, a Baked Beans Contest! Submit your best Baked Beans and let the votes decide!

Easter Bunny Chase 2019
April 21, 2019

Come for our 2019 Bunny Chase! Register at the Wolf Centre on Sunday, April 21st, between 11 am and 1 pm.

Spend some quality time with your family while following clues, do some crafts, find Easter eggs, chocolate and small prizes hidden at different points around Base Camp. Keep your eyes open for the golden ticket! If you find it, you'll be the lucky winner of an AMAZING prize to make the outdoors great this summer. The first family to visit every location will win a family membership to the Wolf Centre!

Pre-registration is not required. Participation Fee is regular Wolf Centre admission ($25 per family)You can pre-pay your admission online here.
