Karma Yoga

KARMA YOGA CLASS: with Cait Hutt Love on Mondays from 6:30 to 7:30pm. Focus on increasing flexibility & strength, while working with the breath to calm the mind & bring peace to the whole body. Suitable for all levels. Bring your own mat, or there will be mats offered. Wear warm, comfortable clothing that is easy to move in.

Karate for Kids

Kita No Senshi Dojo welcomes all residents to a free month of karate training without any further membership dues if it does not insterest you.

If you wish to continue, pay only $30 per month to attend classes every Monday evening from 6PM to 7PM.

You will learn the basic core of defensive techniques from our martial arts lineage. Teachings passed on to us from some of the most highly regarded masters.

By the eve of her 25th birthday, Catherine, a troubled young woman, has spent years caring for her brilliant but unstable father, a famous mathematician. Following his death, she must deal with her own volatile emotions; the arrival of her estranged sister, Claire; and the attentions of Hal, a former student of her father's, who hopes to find valuable work in the 103 notebooks that her father left behind.

Romance and the discovery of a mysterious notebook draw Catherine in. How much of her father's madness - or genius - will she inherit?

Discover the local "night life" with just a flashlight and your own two feet. Brave the dusk and into the darkness let your senses explore the forest and enjoy the stars on this guided evening hike through some of Haliburton Forest's trails. Pre-registration is required.
